VIERMANSTERK / DE HUFTERS:
Viermansterk / De Hufters are an alternative Dutch pop band from the Arnhem area.
Having played in numerous other bands, all members of Viermansterk / De Hufters are solidly rooted in the Dutch pop scene. Examples are: Tiznix, Modern Management, De Rest, The Secret Love Life of Harry the Shark, Viermansterk and 4th Decade. For more information on these bands, check this website, or go here.
Viermansterk / De Hufters The Hufters' founding members - guitarist/vocalist Perry Winkel and multi-instrumentalist Gert van Santen - are still working together. Bass player Rene Balduk joined during the Viermansterk period, and guitarist Edwin Steenstra was hired immediately after that.
Apart from brand-new compositions, Viermansterk / De Hufters are of course still playing some of the best tracks from their hazy past, like Nooit meer naar huis, the title track of their soon to be released album.
The Nooit meer naar huis album will only be available as mp3-download, including all necessary artwork - in case you want to burn your own CD. More information later on this website or here.
At the moment De Hufters are preparing a live set to go with the album. The set will include new tracks for a second album.
